Senator (and former SNL star) Al Franken is being pressured to step down after being accused of sexual misconduct by eight women.
When the first accusation broke three weeks ago, Franken apologised and called for an ethical inquiry into himself, but fellow Democrats say it’s already a bad look for the party to keep him on.
There have already been reports that he plans to step down, but Franken’s office says that’s not accurate and that he’s still thinking it over.
He’s expected to announce his decision today.
(And just a reminder that right now, at the White House, President Donald Trump -- who’s also been accused -- seems to feel no pressure to resign.)
