Saskatoon's main library branch downtown was closed today (Fri) because of a water main break, but it's back open tomorrow.
Along with the regular traffic through the Frances Morrison Central Library , all of the library branches are a part of the city's Cold Weather Strategy, meaning normally it would be a place where people come come if they need a warm place to stay. Because of that, any patrons that showed up at the downtown library were being transported elsewhere. Tomorrow, it's back to a normal day opening at 10 a.m., but the facility will be under a drinking water advisory. The Friends of the Library Book Sale will also continue as scheduled.
