Two players on the University of Saskatchewan Huskies football team are Canada West Conference All-Stars.
Punter Sean Stenger was a unanimous choice and made the team for a second straight season. The fourth-year engineering student who also kicked 12 field goals in 2017, totalled 2,594 yards on 58 punts for an average of close to 45 yards.
Receiver Mitch Hillis made the all-conference team for a third straight season 52-catches for 935 yards and a conference-leading 10 touchdowns.
The fifth-year Kinesiology student also became the all-time leading receiver in Canada West Football with 2,961 yards and ended his Huskie career third in conference touchdown catches with 24. Hillis is the Huskies all-time leader in catches, receiving yards and touchdowns.
