On the girls side, Rachel Erickson's Maryfield quartet is 1-3 and tied for fifth place in Pool A. Saskatchewan fell 6-1 to Alberta after beating Newfoundland 6-2. They play Manitoba Thursday morning and need a win and help to stay in championship contention.
