There will be at least one playoff game at SaskTel Centre this postseason after a win by the Saskatchewan Rush over Vancouver Saturday night.
The Stealth got out to an early 1-0 lead, but it would be all Rush from that point on. Saskatchewan would score 6 straight goals en route to a 16-12 win in front of another sold out crowd. The Rush held a comfortable 8-4 lead heading into the half, and after both teams exchanged goals to start the third quarter, the Rush would blow the game wide open with 4 straight goals, including 3 in 93 seconds.
Adam Jones led the way for the Rush with 4 goals and 2 assists, while Mark Matthews scored 3 goals and had 4 helpers. With the win, the Rush are guaranteed a home playoff game.
They could potentially pick up first spot in the West with a win next week against New England.
