The Saskatchewan Rush's home record is no longer perfect.
The Rush held a 12-9 lead over the New England Black Wolves with 1:24 left in the fourth quarter, but the Black Wolves would score 3 straight goals with the extra attacker, including the game tying goal by Chad Culp wiht 8 seconds left to send it to overtime. In the extra frame, Shawn Evans would score on the powerplay to give New England the road win and silence SaskTel Centre.
Mark Matthews led Saskatchewan with 2 goals and 3 assists, while Curtis Knight added 2 goals and 2 helpers.
That loss prevents Saskatchewan from clinching first in the West Division. The Rush will have another chance to do so next Saturday against Toronto.
