The Saskatchewan Rush took a one goal game and blew it wide open for a game 1 win over Colorado in the West Final.
A Jeremy Noble goal with 23 seconds left in the third quarter closed the Rush lead to 1 heading into the final period, but the Rush exploded for 9 goals in the final frame to shock the fans in Denver with an 18-9 win. Adam Jones, the former Mammoth forward who was traded to Saskatchewan in the offseason, scored 4 of the 9 goals in the fourth quarter and ended the night with a 6 goal, 3 assist performance. Teammate Mark Matthews also had a strong night with 2 goals and 7 assists. The Rush now return to Saskatoon with a 1-0 lead in the best of 3 series. Game 2 at SaskTel Centre is this upcoming Saturday. In the East Final, Georgia snuck by Toronto 11-8.
