It's my Parting Shot for some Thursday Thoughts...
It must be the post-season in Canada. Any, and all, missed or blown calls by N-H-L officials get as much, if not more, play than the great goals or saves being made by the Canadian team. And, it's only the Canadian teams that seem to complain...like the Edmonton Oilers were last night. Mind you, between a blatant goaltender interference that wasn't overtuned, a missed offside that couldn't be challenged and an icing that was, essentially, ignored...as much as I'm not a fan of the Oil, I can understand why they'd be upset!
I would seriously worry more about Ryan Getzlaf if I were the Oilers and leave the officiating issues for the fans and media!
I would, also, seriously worry more about what Ted Leonsis might do if you're a member of the Washington Capitals...and fall well short again of accomplishing what everyone things they should!
When do Major League Baseball pitchers wise up, with the help of their pitching coaches and catchers, and start throwing that pitch known as "the curveball" to Aaron Judge of the Yankees. Being 6-foot-7 and incredibly talented doesn't mean that you just give up trying to find a way to get him out! But, his 13 home runs is impressive, nonetheless!
